BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (June 22, 2017) - ATI Physical Therapy is proud to announce the opening of its newest Michigan clinic at 1110 S. Main Street in Chelsea. ATI Chelsea will offer the community access to physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the nation’s leading physical therapy provider. The Chelsea location marks ATI’s first clinic in the community, bringing ATI’s Michigan footprint to 71 clinics.
Known for high quality of care and exceptional results, the energetic and motivating staff at ATI provides personalized treatment plans in an upbeat and fun atmosphere.
Welcoming patients at the new location is Michigan native Lisa Rathfon, PT, MPT. Lisa received a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan. She enjoyed a 25-year career with Saint Joseph Mercy Hospitals in Saline and Ann Arbor, working with a wide range of patient populations and diagnoses, before joining the ATI family in January 2017. With an approach that includes joint and soft tissue mobilization along with exercise therapy, Lisa enjoys working with extremity patients, both surgical and non-surgical. In the clinic Monday through Friday with extended hours on an appointment basis, Lisa works to get all new patients started with therapy within 24 to 48 hours. She is very excited to bring ATI Physical Therapy to Chelsea, and is eager to develop relationships within the community as well as to support physicians with the continuity of care for their patients. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with friends and family (especially at her cabin up north), running, working out, reading, and scrapbooking.
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with the Chelsea community to share our mission of offering the highest level of care in an atmosphere that strives to be that bright spot in our patients’ day,” said Dan Greenhill, Vice President of Operations at ATI. "If you're experiencing any aches and pains, please stop by, schedule a complimentary screening with Lisa and experience the ATI difference."
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI offers expanded hours and complimentary screenings, plus accepts virtually all major insurance carriers. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
ATI Physical Therapy offers morning, afternoon and evening hours. To make an appointment at the Chelsea clinic or learn more about ATI, please call 734-593-3074.
