BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (June 30, 2017) - ATI Physical Therapy, the nation’s largest physical therapy practice under one brand, announces further expansion into Illinois and its Downers Grove community with the opening of its newest clinic, located at 336-338 W. Ogden Ave. The Downers Grove-W. Ogden clinic will offer the community access to physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the nation’s leading physical therapy provider.
Leading patient care at Downers Grove-W. Ogden Ave. is clinic director Alex Toebben. Toebben graduated from Maryville University with a Bachelor of Science in 2013, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015. He enjoys working with a wide range of patient groups and specializes in using manual techniques as well as functional exercises and therapeutic activities to return patients to optimal levels of function. Toebben has taken several continuing education courses to enhance his knowledge and clinical skills in orthopedic pathologies and the overhead athlete. He is currently enrolled in a nationally-recognized program to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. His clinical experience includes treating patients for pre and postoperative care, musculoskeletal pain, work hardening, and postural/body mechanics education for prevention of further injury. In his free time, Toebben enjoys golfing, wood working, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
