ATI Physical Therapy has been recognized as Northwest Indiana’s “Best Physical Therapy” by The Times of Northwest Indiana’s 2017 Best of the Region contest. For 22 years, The Times has hosted the contest, asking residents to cast a vote for their favorite business in more than 130 categories ranging from goods to services. This year’s designation marks the second time ATI has been awarded “Best Physical Therapy” honors in the contest’s Health Care category.
“One of the awesome things about this award is that we did not apply for the award, we did not spend advertising money with the paper, we did not actively tell people to vote for us - the people in the community just chose us as the best in the area compared to our competitors,” said Derek Pequette, senior regional director.
“This award speaks to the ATI culture as well as our team’s dedication to provide the most hospitable environment focusing on helping our patients regain their functional independence,” added Pequette.
ATI currently has 60 clinics in the state of Indiana, with 21 in the Northwest region: Cedar Lake, Crown Point, Dyer, Elkhart, Griffith, Hammond, Hobart, Lowell, Merrillville, Michigan City, Mishawaka, Munster, Portage and Valparaiso. Nationwide, ATI is approaching 700 clinics, spread across 25 states.
