BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (May 8, 2018) - In a continued effort to increase patient access to advanced physical therapy services in Nebraska, ATI Physical Therapy announces the opening of its newest clinic in Omaha-Chalco Hills. To celebrate the grand opening, the ATI Foundation, which provides aid to children with physical impairments, will host a special beneficiary presentation where one local family will receive funding to support their child with special needs.
Through the ATI Foundation’s ongoing mission to give back to local communities, the Hobbs family from Omaha will be presented a check, which will cover the costs for a special piece of equipment for their child’s wheel chair.
“We are excited to announce the opening of our Omaha-Chalco Hills clinic and also to give back to the communities where we work and live via the ATI Foundation,” said Wes Williams, vice president, operations, ATI Physical Therapy. “ATI physical therapy may be a new brand to the market, but our therapists have long-standing ties to the community and extensive skillsets, including the clinic director and long-time native, Ethan Hunke, as well as physical therapist, Christy Nielsen, who has much experience treating elite runners in the Omaha area. The ATI experience is based on the principles of exceeding patient therapy and service expectations, so we are excited to have such an accomplished team in place to carry on our mission.”
The new Omaha-Chalco Hills ATI clinic is located at 10700 Sapp Brothers Dr. The new location, which lifts ATI’s presence in the state to 11 clinics, offers convenient access to physical therapy, sports medicine, workers’ compensation services, rehabilitation and training of elite runners and complimentary injury screenings from the industry leader in physical therapy.
The community of Omaha-Chalco Hills is invited to celebrate with ATI at its open house, taking place at the clinic on Thursday, May 10 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. The ATI Foundation presentation will take place during the event.
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
