BOLINGBROOK, Ill., (Oct. 5, 2018) – ATI’s Worksite Solutions (AWS) today announced that its Medical Director, Milt. E. Dupuy, MD, MPH, was recently honored by the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals (NAOHP), as the sole beneficiary of the prestigious 2018 Frank Leone Award. AWS is a division of ATI Physical Therapy, committed to the overall health and wellness of workers across the United States.
The Frank Leone Award recognizes an occupational health professional who exhibits the highest levels of leadership in the industry and for their contributions to Occupational Health. Professionals nominated for the award must be current members in good standing with the NAOHP and receive nominations by members of the association, employers or colleagues.
“I was surprised yet incredibly honored to receive the 2018 Frank Leone Award for contributions to the field of Occupational Medicine,” exclaimed Leone. “I have been fortunate to work with dedicated professionals over the years who have shared a vision of promoting optimal health and delivering the highest quality of healthcare for the employees we serve. This award recognizes the collective effort and accomplishments of our current AWS team and those I have worked with in the past, all dedicated to this common vision.”
Since assuming the role of AWS’ Medical Director in 2015, Dr. Dupuy has guided AWS healthcare staff by providing and supporting a proactive, preventive-based care model for employers and employees across the U.S.
“His approach towards early intervention has resulted in significant reductions in recordable injuries and workers’ compensation claims, but more importantly, has enhanced the overall health of the employees he works with,” said Sheila Denman, vice president, ATI Worksite Solutions. “His approach is to inspire and empower employees to be accountable for their actions that ultimately affect their and health and physical resiliency.”
For several years, Dr. Dupuy has proudly served the AWS team and has been an active member of the NAOHP. His passion and commitment to ensure the best care for his colleagues continues to be the primary fundamental in which his work ethic is based on. Dr. Dupuy’s recognition for the Frank Leone Award is a direct reflection of his work ethic and the values he has instilled in his team members in creating a more efficient work environment.
