Bolingbrook, Ill., (July 8, 2019) -- ATI Physical Therapy (ATI), one of the nation’s largest providers of physical therapy services, has announced Kate Ricks will serve as Vice President of Operations overseeing the day-to-day operations for all clinics in Maryland and Ohio, effective immediately. Ricks has been serving as Senior Regional Director for ATI’s clinics in eastern Maryland over the past three years, responsible for driving significant growth and success in patient care and outcomes. In her new role, Kate will bring her operational excellence and focus on patient satisfaction to all of ATI’s clinics in Maryland and Ohio to ensure patients are receiving the best care possible in a friendly and safe environment.
Ricks originally joined ATI Physical Therapy in 2011 as a staff physical therapist in the Abingdon clinic in Harford County. A year later, she accepted a lead clinician role in the Reisterstown Clinic before spearheading a clinic opening in Pasadena as a Clinic Director. Over the next few years, Ricks served patients of ATI as a multi-site Clinic Director before a promotion to Regional Director for Maryland overseeing Anne Arundel and Howard County clinics. Ricks eventually expanded her oversight of ATI clinics to include the eastern shore of Maryland and clinics in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties as well as clinics in Ohio. She has been instrumental in expanding service offerings to those clinics, including sports medicine and workers’ rehabilitation programs that addressed needs of patients in the community.
“Kate is an impactful leader within ATI Physical Therapy. Her disciplined focus on consistency in providing the best care possible to patients while also fostering an environment of development and collaboration for new clinicians and aspiring physical therapy leaders has enabled her to oversee multiple clinics all providing an exceptional level of physical therapy treatment,” says Keith Jackson, Senior Vice President of ATI. “We’re thrilled she’s accepted the role of VP of operations for Maryland and Ohio – it’s a natural progression for her strategic leadership within the organization to continue driving market growth for ATI, while optimizing the value of care ATI provides.”
Ricks is a 2006 graduate of James Madison University with a degree in health sciences and a
2009 graduate of Old Dominion University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
