BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (July 3, 2017) - ATI Physical Therapy is excited to announce the opening of its newest clinic in Washington suburb of Lynnwood, located at 3105 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Suite H. The new location, which marks ATI’s 40th clinic in the state, offers convenient access to physical therapy, workers compensation services and vestibular therapy.
The Lynnwood - Alderwood Mall Blvd clinic is led by clinic director Joan Quinonez. Since 2001, Quinonez’s clinical practice has been primarily in outpatient orthopedics with emphasis on ergonomics, repetitive use injuries and manual treatment of spinal injuries, hip and pelvic girdle pain. Quinonez’s clinical expertise is focused on hypermobility syndromes, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. Through her successes, Quinonez served as a clinical instructor and is the proud recipient of a Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Therapy from the APTA Section on Women's Health in 2014. She’s also served a three year appointment on the CAPP-OB committee as a Lab Instructor and Lecturer at continuing education courses where she participated in writing and editing of course materials.
Quinonez’s core principle is centered on encouraging independence and education to allow the patient to participate in their own recovery.
“I am excited to be opening a new ATI Physical Therapy location in Lynnwood,” said Quinonez. “I look forward to getting to know the community and bring my clinical expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm to work each day to help patients meet their goals.”
First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
