Appleton Residents to Benefit from New ATI Physical Therapy Clinic
3212 E Calumet Street, Suites E&F, Appleton, WI 54915
Appleton is the latest northeast Wisconsin community to benefit from the services of an ATI Physical Therapy clinic. Located on 3212 E. Calumet St., Ste. E & F, the ATI clinic will offer convenient access to patient-centered care from the industry’s leader in physical therapy, sports medicine, and workers’ compensation services.
Welcoming patients at the new location is Appleton area resident Jamie Wickersheim. Jamie graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Physical Therapy degree. He has worked in Green Bay for 17 years, and joined ATI physical therapy in 2017 so he could better serve the community in which he lives. The focus of Jamie’s career has been orthopedic therapy. He has taken extensive continuing education courses focusing on the treatment of the spine, tailbone, and extremities. Currently, he is working toward certification as a functional manual therapist through the Institute of Physical Art.
Jamie uses a manual therapy approach with prescriptive exercise to support neuromuscular re-education and physical change. He has a special interest in spine and tailbone dysfunction. Jamie utilizes custom orthotics to help treat an assortment of lower extremity and back pain. No matter what your age or ailment, Jamie feels everyone has potential and he will work as your teammate to help you get where you want to be. Jaimie will create a specialized treatment program tailored to your specific needs, using hands-on care and evidence-based treatment techniques designed to help you achieve your goals.
“We are excited to announce the opening of our first Appleton location on East Calumet Street with Jamie Wickershiem as the clinic director,” said regional director Amy Goebel. “ATI Physical Therapy may be a new brand to the market, but Jamie certainly is not. He has more than 15 years of experience providing care to the residents of this area where he lives.”
The ATI experience is based on the foundation of exceeding your therapy and service expectations from the moment you enter our facility. With same day appointments available, starting therapy is quick and easy. First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24 to 48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patients’ schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
ATI accepts almost all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment, and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research, and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work, and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
ATI has received many local, regional, and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare.
