ATI Opens New Clinic in College Park, MD

ATI Physical Therapy is pleased to announce the opening of its 32nd Maryland clinic located in College Park. The new location at 4740 Cherry Hill Road opened on December 15, and will offer residents convenient access to the nation’s leading physical therapy provider.

Jesse Mohoric has been named clinic director at the new location. Jesse received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2011 after training with top physical therapy clinics across the country. Following graduation, he began working for ATI and treated in Dover, Delaware for two years, becoming a lead clinician. Additionally, he completed a residency through Evidence in Motion in sports physical therapy and is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Jesse enjoys treating patients of all ages for a variety of orthopedic conditions, and specializes in the treatment of athletes and orthopedic injuries, in addition to assisting in sideline injury assessment. He is currently the clinic director at ATI Physical Therapy in College Park, Rockville and Silver Spring.

Located just off of I-495 by Home Depot near the University of Maryland, ATI Physical Therapy provides patients with the highest quality of physical therapy and sports medicine services—all in a patient-centered and motivating environment. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

“The opening of the College Park clinic reinforces our commitment to the state of Maryland, its residents and communities,” said Tony Pomponi, MPT, Senior Regional Director at ATI Physical Therapy. “We are looking forward to welcoming patients, offering personalized care and exceptional results, all in an environment that is unparalleled.”

The expertly trained staff at ATI provides individualized treatment plans designed specifically to reduce pain, improve mobility, and reduce future injuries. Expanded hours, transportation for those with a medical necessity and complimentary injury screenings are offered at all locations in Maryland. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, translational research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.

ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare.

As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
