ATI Opens South Carolina Low Country Locations

Clinics located Bluffton, Hilton Head and Hardeeville

Residents of the South Carolina Low Country now have access to physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the nation’s leading provider. ATI Physical Therapy is excited to announce the opening of three locations in Bluffton, Hilton Head and Hardeeville.

ATI’s Bluffton clinic is located at 200 Okatie Village Drive. The brand new facility features state-of-the-art equipment, spacious treatment areas and an encouraging environment. Steve Guynup, PT, ATC, has been appointed clinic director. He attended Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT, earning his Bachelor in Physical Therapy and completing the requirements needed to obtain his certification as an athletic trainer in 1992. Prior to joining ATI, Steve served as clinic director for Clemson Physical Therapy & Spine Rehab.

Complementing ATI’s new Bluffton location are the Hardeeville and Hilton Head clinics, which were acquired by ATI from Clemson Physical Therapy & Spine Rehab in August. Both locations will be transferring to the ATI brand name this month.

Leading the team as clinic director at ATI’s Hardeeville location is Meghan Klunk, DPT. Meghan earned both her bachelor’s degree and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the from University of Pittsburgh. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with special interests and certifications in Pilates and prenatal/post-partum rehabilitation.  ATI Hardeeville is located at 300 New River Parkway.

Welcoming patients at ATI’s Hilton Head clinic is Rob Crowder, MSPT.  A graduate of Duke, Rob is a 28-year veteran in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, and is looking forward to helping the residents of Hilton Head return to a pain-free and active lifestyle. ATI Hilton Head is located at 35 Bill Fries Drive, Building K.

First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.

ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named “Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation” by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
