ATI Physical Therapy is proud to announce further expansion into Alabama and its Birmingham community with the opening of three new clinics in Trussville, Cullman and Birmingham-St. Vincent. The clinics will offer the community access to physical therapy, sports medicine and workers’ compensation services from the nation’s leading physical therapy provider. In addition, ATI, through its Sports Medicine Group, will provide athletic trainers to cover the sports programs at 30 schools in the Birmingham area.

ATI’s Birmingham locations are part of an ongoing effort to extend physical therapy services in Alabama. In early July, ATI will open a second Lincoln location, growing their clinic total five. By the end of 2017, ATI plans to have opened an additional 10 within the region. Nationwide, ATI operates more than 700 clinics across 25 states.

“We could not be more proud to offer Alabama’s Birmingham community convenient access to ATI’s industry-leading physical therapy services,” said ATI’s Robert Leonard, senior vice president, Growth and Development. “At ATI, we offer the benefits of a big company and the personalized, family-like atmosphere of a small practice. We know that a positive experience lies beyond great rehabilitative care – it’s about developing a personal connection the moment our patients walk through the door.”

The three new ATI clinics are located at 5431 Patrick Way Suite 101, Birmingham; 1877 Cherokee Ave. SW, Cullman; and 833 St. Vincent’s Dr., POB #3, Birmingham. The current Lincoln clinic is located at 76359 AL Highway 77, Suite B, Lincoln.

Known for high quality of care and exceptional results, ATI provides personalized treatment plans and a hands-on approach to physical therapy and sports medicine. First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

ATI offers expanded hours and complimentary screenings, plus accepts virtually all major insurance carriers. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
