ATI Physical Therapy Opens Third Location in Elkton, Maryland

Union Rehab to become ATI Physical Therapy

Elkton, MD - ATI Physical Therapy now offers three Elkton, MD locations where those in need of physical therapy can receive outstanding care in a friendly and motivating environment. On May 5, ATI opened a new clinic in the Singerly Medical Office Building, located on the Union Hospital Campus at 137 W. High Street, Suite 3.

The new clinic opened in conjunction with ATI Physical Therapy’s acquisition of Union Rehab, the outpatient rehabilitation services at Union Hospital. The hospital’s outpatient physical therapy services have been relocated to ATI’s new clinic. ATI has been managing the physical therapy services for Union Hospital since 2011. The transition to ATI provided the opportunity to continue offering the highest quality physical therapy at Union Hospital in a larger and better equipped clinic.

“ATI is pleased to deepen its longstanding relationship with Union Hospital by locating a brand new clinic right on the hospital campus. This will allow us to combine resources to improve the continuum of care and establish programs that will result in better overall rehabilitation for the patients of Cecil County,” said Ralph Franceschini, MPT, Senior Vice President of Operations, ATI Physical Therapy.

Physical Therapy Services

The new clinic offers physical therapy, hand therapy, neurologic rehab, and ATI’s nationally-recognized F.I.R.S.T.™ work conditioning program. ATI’s highly experienced clinicians are specialists in orthopedics and joint replacement. Clinic Director Chris Brinton, MPT, CwCHP, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University and his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. His areas of expertise include foot/ankle, lower extremity biomechanics, and worker’s compensation patients.

“I get energized by my interactions with my patients, seeing progress and making a difference in their lives,” said Brinton. “I have been blessed with a great staff here at the High Street clinic that are dedicated, hard-working and genuinely care about our patients.”
