Manny's Mission & ATI Foundation Join Forces
After ten years of hosting its own 5K event, the ATI Foundation is partnering with another charitable organization in a joint effort to make a greater impact on surrounding communities.
Manny’s Mission, formerly known as The SuperManny Mission, is based out of Romeoville, IL, and was founded by Holly Bueno to help raise awareness for cerebral palsy, epilepsy and other childhood disabilities. The two organizations came together when the ATI Foundation granted financial assistance to Holly’s son, Manny, a.k.a. “SuperManny,” toward the purchase of a hyperbaric oxygen chamber for his home to help with symptoms of cerebral palsy.
The two groups—with very similar missions— each hosted their own successful 5K events, and chose to join forces in an effort to create one elite family-friendly event. Together, they hope to grow participation, and in turn, increase the fundraising efforts that help support the mission of both of these organizations.
“This partnership was a natural fit for the ATI Foundation, as it allows us to continue to support one of our previous beneficiaries who has become a special member of our beneficiary family, while continuing to help other children in our community with physical impairments,” said Terry Williams, ATI Foundation Director. “We look forward to maintaining our support of SuperManny, helping more children in need and bringing about community awareness for many physical diseases and challenges that affect children in our community.”
As the ATI Foundation anticipates the most successful 5K event to date, they want ATI Foundation supporters to know that this will allow them to help many more children in this community, as well as across the many states we serve, in addition to SuperManny who continues to need assistance. “ATI Foundation has similar values as we do,” said Holly Bueno. “Two great forces uniting as one is the best way to impact more lives.”
