Oak Creek is Home to New ATI Physical Therapy Clinic

The community of Oak Creek is the latest in Wisconsin to benefit from the services of a new ATI Physical Therapy clinic. Located at 600 W. Drexel Ave., Suite 150 in Oak Creek, WI, the new location will offer convenient access to physical therapy, and vestibular treatment from the industry’s leading provider.

Leading the team is John Maccanelli. John graduated from the University of Wisconsin Parkside in Kenosha, WI with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology in 2006. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 2009.  John enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations and specializes in using manual techniques.  As well, he uses functional exercises and therapeutic activities to return patients to an optimal level of function.  As a former competitive power lifter, John has always enjoys treating athletes and patients with orthopedic injuries. He has taken several continuing education courses to further gain knowledge about orthopedic pathologies, joint mobilizations, and vestibular disorders.  His clinical experience includes treating patients for pre and post-operative care, musculoskeletal pain, work hardening, and postural/body mechanics education for further prevention of injury. In his free time, John enjoys hiking with his family and remodeling his home. He also participates in fund-raising to further cancer research for treatment and prevention.  With ATI Physical Therapy, John uses evidenced-based research and a well-rounded clinical experience to provide optimal physical therapy services in a friendly and encouraging environment.

First appointments with all ATI clinics are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
